Department of Computer Science

Computer Science Department started its journey in the year 2004 under guidance and initiative of Dr. Bijan Mohanto, the then principal of this college. It started with 12 students who took the subject as General paper. Full fledged 3 years Computer Science Honours course was introduced in the year 2005 under CalcuttaUniversity. In 2008, first batch of students passed from this department with Dibyendu Bikash Seal as topper who got 1st class marks. Other 15 students also passed successfully.

In the year 2011, as much as 82% students of the department has secured 1st class marks in final University examination.

We are looking for the day when each enrolled student of this department will stand brightly in future.
