Sushovan Pyne comes from the Land of Red Soil. Born in 1988 in an outlying village of Bankura district, Sushovan was close to writing since his childhood and his first inscription was published when he was in sixth standard. With consistent brilliant scores throughout academic career he did his Masters in 2011, Bechelor Of Education 2012 and completed his M.Phil in Bengali in 2017 with 1st class. He is currently pursuing his P.hD from B.B.M.K. University.
Sushovan has been into teaching profession since 2013 and currently working as a State Aided College Teacher in Vivekananda College since 2020. In these ten years of experience in teaching in different organizations, Sushovan has attended many seminars, conferences, workshops. As a teacher his mantra is to be a friend of his students at first place. He believes that learning should always a joyful experience for the students. Apart from his profession as a teacher he has experience of working as a Sub-editor in Ektara magazine. He has developed a cultural organization named NABA BANGLAR MUKH SAHITYA SANSKRITY ACADEMY, which is now a Govt. registered organization. He is also working as Vice President in a Social Health Organization named JIBON SARATHI, which is an NGO by nature.
Sushovan’s fondness and love for literature has made him engaged with it very affectionately. His first book Jibonanander Kobitay Lokojo Upadan Proyog O Swatantra, was published in 2018. He also has been the editor of the book DASHAMURTI. In last one decade his stories, poems and other articles have been published in many magazines. Apart from his love for literature and writing he has keen interest in drama, recitation and anchoring as well. He believes that the fragrance of life is more beautiful than it is in any flower. And unveiling the true fragrance to ourselves is a lifelong and endless journey which needs ceaseless practice from one.
