Dr. Debashis Kundu completed his B.Com (Hons.) and M.Com (Accounting and Finance) with first class marks. He completed his Ph.D in 2008 while working as a Part-time Faculty in Commerce. He has taken many administrative and Examination related assignments since joining Vivekananda College in a Substantive post.
He is academically active exploring emerging areas in Finance like FinTech, CBDC, Internet of Things etc.

He has Completed Ph.D. in 2008. Has authored more than 20 research articles is Journals and Books.

He is currently Head, Department of Commerce, Teacher-in-Charge (Morning Shift) and Secretary of Vivekananda College Examination Committee.
Has been working as a University Paper-Setter since 2012 and Head Examiner since 2013.

He has been Teaching at the UG ad PG level in Vivekananda College since 2010. He was a Part-Time Faculty before that since 2003.
