Environmental Biology & Toxicology
Completed Ph.D. from Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute on Respiratory & haematological effects of air pollution in human. Research contributor in the monograph published by West Bengal Pollution Control Board on air pollution related health hazards. Recipient of Young Scientist Award from Indian Science Congress Association & Zoological Society of India.
Acted as the Head of the Department from 2012-2015. Acted as Exam secretary & Officer-in-charge.
Teaching in Vivekananda College for 18years.
Till now, have supervised dissertation work of 12 students of Environmental Biology & Toxicology Lab.
Life Member of Zoological Society.
